>>101284793Because I'm not cherry picking, I'm saying that parts of the fluff stories MUST be allegorical because YISUN literally does not exist as a singular entity anymore.
Note, that my argument is not the opposite; I'm NOT saying that the fluff text must be partly allegorical, and therefor YISUN doesn't exist as a singular entity anymore.
>>101284842Anon, please don't play dumb. My argument is that, because of the split, YISUN does not exist as singular entity. Therefor, the fluff text involving YISUN is allegorical; hypothetical stories and tales meant to impart lessons or wisdom.
Because of this, they are neither evidence for or against YISUN existing after they split, as far as my argument is concerned. It is entirely reasonable to assume that they might be partly allegorical, as this is found in the religions and mythologies that KSBD is drawn from / inspire by. If you can provide evidence that the fluff text actually is historical, or that YISUN's division was not a dissolution of its self, I'll concede the point.
As of now, however, you have made no genuine argument.
>the stories are allegorical because YISUN split its self in two, and no longer exists as an individual>>YISUN exists as an individual, even after having split into YIS and UN, because the stories are historicalWe're going in circles, except you're making the assumption that the supplementary reading is historical, rather than recognizing the simpler conclusion.
>YISUN is tired of singular existence>Becomes YIS and UN, YISUN no longer exists and is no longer singular>this is supported directly from the comic>therefor, the supplementary reading is allegorical in parts involving YISUN as a singular individual, similar to allegorical teachings, lessons, koans, etc, from Buddhism and HinduismMeanwhile, your entire argument is:
>Abby wrote it in a story, therefor it is true and historical in the context of the settingIt's an unacceptable leap of logic.
