>>101272225All I want is for him to own up to a few things. I loved early FOP. Cosmo and Wanda were fantastic characters. They were both equally silly but both genuinely cared about Timmy. But Cosmo became completely lolsorandom and Wanda became a nagging voice of reason. FOP started to go downhill long before they introduced Poof, Sparky or Chloe. Danny Phantom also had a number of problems with its second season, which happened to be when Bob Boyle and Steve Marmel left.
Butch doesn't seem to realize FOP's quality changed. He seems to genuinely believe the later episodes are just as good. For years, he dodged questions about FOP's quality. He refused to comment on it. He pretended everything was right in the world.
I even interviewed him once. It was a terrible interview, as I'm not a goddamn journalist but somehow got roped into it. I just sent him a list of questions and let him send the answers back. The question about changes to FOP and some of the fan complaints? Ignored. It was the only question he refused to answer.
Reminds me of when Doug TenNapel called me a faggot for criticizing Catscratch. Guilty as charged, but some of these creators can't stand any negativity.
Lauren Faust owned up to the negativity surrounding the Bendy episode in Foster's. She apologize many, many times and explained her thought positions. But she owned up to it. She was out in the open, waving her hands saying she messed up. That endears you to people.
