A problem is all these projects go into development around the same time without being aware of one another, so a bunch of shows can come out at the same time and all look the exact same unintentionally. I expect shows will look a little different in the next two or three years, the Thundercats Roar hate meme got pretty big and might convince people to try something else. Or at least try not to look exactly like everything else.

This show was conceived a decade ago for Cartoon Network Development Studio Europe. It was a huge initiative, with over two dozen pilots, yet Gumball was the only show that got greenlit. Gumball still has the logo at the end, last time I watched it, but the studio hasn't existed since 2012.

Not even gonna lie, I pretty much don't watch western cartoons anymore, or go to /co/ for that matter. I've always loved both eastern and western cartoons but the stuff from the west is in such a pathetic state now and just doesn't interest me. I know that anime isn't perfect and 90% of it is garbage but at least I can pick out a show or two every season to be hyped about. I DEFINITELY cannot say that about western cartoons.
