It's not fair. When he was popular enough for a movie in the 90s he was too special to get used. Now Disney is cool enough to use him he's not popular enough to get a movie.

There was one slated for the early 00s as well that never came to be. "The Search For Mickey Mouse". I have an old guild newsletter mentioning it somewhere so it must have gotten relatively far into development.
