They're useful idiots whom have made "Science" their new god, and Scientists the new unquestionable Priests. Which, is especially egregious, because science is a process, not a body of knowledge. A process which is only as trustworthy as the people who carry it out.
I wonder how many of them still think Peer Review includes replication studies.
