>>101149110The lights go out and the director walks on set "That was amazing! Incredible even! And I got it all on camera! But we're way off script, I can probably find a way to work it in, but that's going to take some finagling..."
Skathi now looks perplexed "What is the meaning of this?"
The director turns "Haven't you ever heard of show business?" Skathi stares blankly "Motion pictures?" Skathi looks as if she might have heard someone say something about it at some point in time when she wasn't paying attention "The preforming arts?" Now she looks like she's caught on.
Skathi looks around at all the people holding cameras and other people running around in costumes from set to set as others direct them "Oh... my apologies."
The director continues "You can make up for it by sticking around. I love how 'real' that fight was. So kiss and make up with /co/le and we'll call it square." He thumb points to /co/le, who is now standing behind him, as he says this.
Skathi and /co/le lock eyes again, but this time a giant hand rises up from the shadows and comes between them with a huge "NOPE" written on it.
/co/le muses "That's new." As Skathi begins poking at it with her spear.
"The set sure is lively." Another man has walked on set "So you must be Mr. Cole, my stunt double for this film?" He extends a hand which /co/le shakes "It's nice to finally meet you."
Clara: "Wow, they're both jacked."
Scene cuts to later, /co/le, the Seasons Girls, Skathi, and 6-9-6 are making use of a break room after hours. There's a keg of beer in Skathi's hand and many empty beer bottles scattered about.
/co/le: "So wait, you're telling me there are multiple pantheons?"
Lily: "Oh yeah, loads of 'em. And each has different rules. We've never even met our patron god. Bit of a loner, that guy."
Marigold: "The Collective asked us to help them with this case, they've been learning a lot about how divine rules work from it."
/co/le turns to his agent and asks "Are they who you called in?"
