Each Harley is a different universe.
1: Harley falls in love with the Joker while a Psychologist and throws away her life to be with him. She is only for the joker, and though sultry, rejects advances of others other than Poison Ivy who cares for her and tries to convince her that Joker isn't worth it but she keeps falling back into it.
2: Harley is one of many, many "Harley Quinn"s , who the Joker goes through and kills to get a side-kick. He keeps a collection of their rotting bodies in an old prison under Gotham and Harley is no longer in love with him after. She is very promiscuous and has an intense sexually charged relationship with poison ivy as well as most males she comes across. Very violent and psychotic, she starts to be an anti-hero and change to being a gun-girl until Rebirth.
3: Harley was a psychologist but slept with the professors to get good grades and falls in love with the Joker but realises he is bad. She turns into a mix of an anti-hero and also still has no qualms killing people randomly depending on the writer. She is an anti-hero in her own comic, but in the Suicide Squad, she happily kills anyone she comes across. She also has sexual relations with multiple characters, such as Deadshot.
