There wouldn't be one even if the show were still around. Sure, the man voicing Kahn is White. But, his wife is voiced by an Asian woman. There were also other representations of Laotians like that other Laotian guy and other member's of Kahn's family. Like his mother and his father and law. Also that one niece voiced by Lucy Liu.

Trump is the personification of everything hank hill despises. He’s like a 70 year old Bobby with no moral compass, empathy or sense of right and wrong. He’s never had a real job, was born rich and is a certified draft dodger. Plus he eats his steak with ketchup and it’s probably cooked in an electric oven or something. I don’t think there’s anything about trump that wouldn’t annoy Hank. Bobby would probably like him and then hank would be all like “bwaaaaa!” And try to keep Bobby for being influenced by him. Never, there is no money or fame to be made taking potshots at a show that is mostly forgotten except for diehard fans online.

Simpsons was a big target with a fat wallet and, even today, has enough cultural prestige to leech off of. I’m just shocked the Latinos didn’t cry foul about Bumblebee Man or black people because there is only 6 or 7 black Simpsons characters...and one is dead. John Redcorn is played by actual Injuns the whole run, his culture is played pretty straight and only really a joke when it's bastardized by ignorant white people, he's a business owner all his foibles are completely unrelated to his ethnicity. Kahn was actually an accurate stereotype though (my parents are from SE Asia so I have multiple relatives who are like the Soups), and a nuanced character. I think people only find stereotypical depictions offensive if they are one-dimensional or inaccurate.

The one that got me was Ted Wassonasong. I didn't get his character until I moved to Houston and met people exactly like him. I thought the way he talked was just some weird quirk but I realized he's trying to suppress his accent and sound American and a ton of upper-class Asians in the Houston area sound exactly like that.

I could almost see Hank holding his nose and voting Trump just because he sees him as the lesser of two evils compared to a Clinton, but 2016 would probably depress the fuck out of him. I think if there was anything that could shake his patriotism it would be that.

I could see him returning home from the poll, with Peggy and Bobby glued to the TV to watch the results, and Hank just walking right past them without even glancing, going to the garage, quietly opening a beer and saying to himself "so this is what it's come to."
