It didn't ruin the Thundercats. The original 85 and the reboot are still enjoyable, and still watchable and still good. Something new being bad along the same vein doesn't make the previous iterations no longer enjoyable.
By that same token: Something new doesn't get a pass just because the old was great.
And this new series looks to be quite bad.
