There is no need to assert pride for something that has never been a point of shame.
Also "Black" pride refers to a shared experience coming from slavery, segregation (or in the case of black Africans still living/recently from Africa), colonisation. The only shared experience white people have in that regard is being on top of the black and brown people, unless you're counting individual identities, like Irish, which there's literally a massive fucking parade for every year.
You could also argue Mardi Gras has been largely the straight pride parade. Things don't need to be stated to be specific like that when it's the default.
