>>100757445I'll agree that his 2010s material has been lacking as a whole thus far (though I enjoyed Monkey: Journey to the West and Rocket Juice and the Moon) but it doesn't stop me from hoping that the Good, the Bad, and the Queen record as well as the next Gorillaz album coming up might be good. As easy as it is to write off an artist once they have a couple of stumbles, if they've done genius work in the past it's perfectly likely they could find a new spark of inspiration. Damon definitely has an interesting sense of melody and way of looking at things. His discography isn't perfect but he's a singular artist
