>>100736006>adults have always been concerned when children are given trash to consume.Fucking this. CN, Nick, and Disney are the only options to choose from for animated children's entertainment, and they have hit a nadir. This isn't the 90s or early 00s where you also had Kids WB, Fox, and the odd third or fourth man (in my case, BKN and UPN) on top of these other cable networks (also Fox/ABC Family too I guess) that had animation blocks that were consistent in their programming from day to day. If I didn't want to watch Animaniacs on WB, I could switch to Fox and get Eek!/Digimon/Batman or BKN for Sonic/Extreme Dinosaurs or UPN for Reboot/Recess/Pokemon (prior to being snatched up by WB), and this was the 90s so Arthur was running on PBS around the time I got home and was definitely several cuts above the usual par for the network.
If there's a chance your show will be aired in the middle of the afternoon when kids are coming home from school, it should have the decency to not be shitgarbage, and snarky noodlearm beanhead show #893578 does not live up to that par at all, but it's easy to mindlessly spam in a weekday schedule. If your kid is going to sit in front of the idiotbox then the programming should at least have the courtesy to not be incestuous in it's content, in regards to both visual and writing style. You can't refine a palette by eating chips, fries, and mashed potatoes since at the end of the day, you're still eating potatoes with a shitton of salt on it.
