So I watched Black Panther again
I didn't like T'Challa's characterization but I warmed up to it a bit
However my opinion of the movie soured and here's why

For all of your complaining about quippy superhero leads, they serve a purpose. This movie is absolutely ridiculous with it's setting and war rhinos. On top with some of the worst cgi in Marvel movies, it can be really detrimental. However, the humor helps distracts from that. However this distraction is missing in Black Panther. So it sticks out more which is irritating.
