Crazy politics aside, I appreciate Cotugno's artistic style and her work ethic. Not many people can run a webcomic and work on a show, while having success with both.

The people I'm thinking of were big "Marco is trans" people and Tomco shippers who outright said all Starco shippers were pedophiles which doesn't begin to explain why Tomco is somehow okay while Starco is criminal.

They also were actual examples of saying "if you don't agree that Marco is canon trans you're a Nazi" shit which is usually a strawman. In fact they're so strawman-y I wondered if they were falseflagging /pol/ trolls because their posts were so stupid.

Believe it or not, she was a pretty normal person until she went to CalArts. She was a nerdy kid, kinda weeby who liked Victorian era culture and went to Catholic school. Something happened while she was there that caused a radical shift in her personality

She can definitely tweet whatever she wants but I can't get past the fact that she (allegedly?) stated that the entire cast on the show she works on is Bisexual. I have less industry experience than she does so maybe I'm missing something but I would just imagine that unless you're a showrunner or creator, promising something like that to a show's already weird, slightly unhinged fan base would be grounds for a HR chat. I've definitely seen others get scolded for less but I guess this is the new normal.
