Nowadays, though, motherfuckers think that the ironic posting that happens on boards is straight up the actual board culture and they just emulate that and believe they are around their peers and, as I've said, we've entered an age where people not being ironic about their shitty behavior is the norm. This is a much bigger issue on entry-level boards like /v/.
As an ancient-fag, I'm of the mind that spoonfeeding is fine in this current day and age, because I often want to foster dialogue rather than impeding it with old standards that don't really do anything. A quick google search literally answers most questions people have anyway and the idea of boards as 'super seekrit clubs' is long-gone.
