The showrunners/creative teams explicitly stated that the show was about Shield specifically and to not expect anything other than a show about shield.
It's not "The Avengers Power Hour featuring a few shield agents." or anything of the sort, nor was it ever billed up to be anything similar to that, furthermore, they wanted to avoid the idea of having "character x was just here and you just missed them" scenario, which is why delusional faggots keep complaining about it being non-canon despite Coulson or the few appearances of Fury, Agent Carter, Sif, Sitwell, Felix Blake, and Gideon Malick.
The most retarded aspect of these faggots that just want to see expensive actors in film roles in AoS just to justify a viewing is that they're completely missing the point of the title and also unable to process that the same thing that goes on with the films is going on with the show:
You're learning who some of the marvel characters are and even able to come across some obscure or interesting surprises such as Lash, Crusher Creel, Blackout, Hive, Patriot, Scorch, Hyde, Madame Hydra, Deathlok, Victoria Hand, Mockingbird, Blizzard, Lorelei, Skye being Quake, Ghost Rider appearing and having a full-on arc while the majority of the series seems to have built up up to Graviton.
If the retards enjoy finding nebulous excuses not to watch or to discredit the show because million-dollar actors aren't signing on for a few episodes, hey, it's their loss. Ward's journey was fucking amazing and is worth the investment alone.
...and Fitz outclasses them all as an actor anyhow.
