>>100413019There's was a lot of right sprinkled with some knife twisting (like him assuming if he left the table, the other friends would follow suit, which definitely wouldn't be the case) but his words words were "nobody could love you for who you are" which was rough but... how off the mark was he?
- Paulo had the perfect chance to be her rebound had he stuck with her, but he jumped Jasmine instead just because David ribbed on him a bit.
- Sue acts like she gives a shit but her whole "anti-drama" thing makes her keep her distance when things really gets bad. She just falls on the "give Lucy her space" excuse instead of really getting involved.
- Daisy can't get over her jealousy enough to truly give a shit about Lucy either.
All the friends "like" Lucy but Mike was the only once willing to get close enough to actually love her. Paulo seemed to be infatuated for a while but in light of how seeing how bad she can be, even he seems to have given up.
That said, since she's come back, Lucy's doubling-down on isolating herself from everyone except Augustus, the one guy who at least pretends to have no attraction to her, so he's deemed "not a threat" in her eyes. She doesn't want to be loved so unless she changes, nobody really can.
