>>100383028>Wait tumblr grew up?Sort of. A lot of tumblr people realized they were being laughed at and changed their arguments and tactics. There were a couple of incidents.
Someone honestly tried making QUILTBAG a thing, so tumblr decided this was getting silly and they needed a catch-all phrase, and mostly just decided to focus on trans people and worry about "miscellaneous other" at some point later maybe. .
When everyone had their own sexualities, "Sapiosexual" ("I'm only attracted to smart people!") briefly caught on and everyone decided that had run it's course and sexualities got defined down to Straight, Gay, Bi, and Asexual. There's some debate over whether "Pansexual" is a thing or not and I think it's starting to lean "no".
And then, of course, the biggest thing was when the SJWs of old started making their own comics and started getting attacking by the new generation of SJWs (or what they call "The Discourse"), which made them a lot less keen on that kind of thing. The inciting factor for that may have been The Discourse trying to get Ava's Demon shut down for pic related.
"Triggered" used as a synonym for "annoyed" was popular on Tumblr for like six months before everyone got tired of the confusion, but the idea of tumblr kids needing trigger warnings for everything far outlasted the actual unironic usage. Tumblr now says "content warning", and is a lot less willing to put content warnings for, like, pomegranates or whatever.
