Thanks. A magazine I read when I was a kid used to have short parts of Thorgal in it every week, but I can't remember much. Thinking of buying a few albums

This is some classic 80's Conan-fantasy, and often quite good too.

I was quite surprised to see a lot of new hardback prints, when I was at the local nerd/gaming store today! A lot of other half-forgotten 80's eurocomics also seem to have gained some minor resurgence?

Thorgal never stopped, and neither did most iconic old eurocomics. They just keep going and going, either with the original author or with replacements. You simply just noticed that they were still there.
Thorgal has had the same artist its entire run (although a different artist does the Young Thorgal, Louve and Kriss of Valnor spin-offs), but the writer changed a couple of years ago. The stories are still good imo, they're focusing more on Mythological stuff than before.
