Bojack doesn't need to be redeemed, he didn't do anything. What he did was pretty gross on a personal level, but other than drunkenly going to Oberlin, he left Charlotte and Penny alone after that. None of his other friends know about it, and he'll probably never see Charlotte or Penny again.
