The TV series has a pretty brutal production schedule that means a lot of sub-par material gets thrown in out of a lack of time to do anything else. A movie should show more care in its writing.

i'm gonna go see it in alone in theaters, trailer was pretty funny

hope they don't notice me being alone again and kick me out because of the "no singles policy". I usually tell them i'm waiting for my girl friend and she'll buy her own ticket before sneaking into the movie alone.

This. I’m not a fan but I can tell you based on my nieces, nephews, and smaller cousins’ opinions that the show is gangbusters with kids. If it wasn’t that popular it wouldn’t be on the network 24/7.

I don't care for the show and I honestly can't see this as anything but what I assume The Lego Batman was like but with TTG, it's just that boring or lacking of substance and I'm not saying that as a "butthurt Teen Titans fan", it really does seem like a wast of a plot, but from what I can tell the show should actually have pretty good animation, with this only being better with a bigger budget.

Yeah because I'm mostly talking about animation, and my opinion of both of those things, individually, involves the comedy that lead me to not watch either, which is relevant in the matter that they're comedy based entertainment that didn't, personally, draw me in on their comedy, which is what they aim to do with commercials/trailers.

I'll admit saying it's not decent is an exaggeration of my own disinterest, but regardless of their choice in comedy, from everything I've seen of the show it's still well animated, and the movie only improves on that.

Gross, I like both tweened and frame by frame animation and don't have beef with this movie or the pony movie, but tween reliant 2D animation should be reserved for TV and web shows, it's like seeing cheap sitcom lighting and cinematography on the big screen.

Well this is just reinforcing my optimism about the movie. I know I'll enjoy it, unlike nostalgiafags and weebs.

It's just unfortunate that I wont be seeing it in the cinema. They will only show the dubbed version, cause cartoons are for kids only apparently (and yet the kids know English better than the adults here). Last 2D movie I watched on the big screen was the one in October last year, and the dub was laughably bad.
