A similar thing is happening with FLCL too but Adult Swim has promised to stream subbed versions alongside the American TV broadcast meaning it'll be done already.
It's gotta be the same with Batman in that the Japanese version is already done, but it seems they're not releasing it to the US at all

The movie didn't take ANYTHING seriously and used pretty much all the anime cliches it could fit.
