There was a stint in early ASM where Peter went to London on a trip funded by the Bugle or some shit. I think it happened right after Gwen Stacy's death and it segwayed into her clone showing up.

But that will have nothing to do with this movie, since filmmakers and writers refuse to read the source material.

How does Spiderman even work in London?

London is not a very tall city - there are a couple of clusters of big towers around the Square Mile and Canary Wharf but they're small and miles apart - it's not a city of skyscrapers like Manhattan which gives Spiderman lots to swing from. How is he supposed to use his signature powers?

Are you dense? As if anybody cares about Chameleon, Mysterio was at least part of the Sinister Six, and not only that I think you're missing the part where the MCU will never use a single popular Spider-Man villain to begin with aka Goblin, Ock, and Venom. Probably not Electro or Rhino either.

Who here /grew up with raimi spider-man but doesn't really have any fond feelings for them/?

The part from homecoming where he's just fucking around stopping street level crime was like, exactly what I wanted from a Spider-Man movie. I've never been big on camp.

I grew up with Spider-Man TAS and 90s comics more than I did Raimi, though I did see it when I was young still, it was never "my" Spider-Man. I do not particularly care for Raimi to be honest, but Homecoming is worse.
