One thing I remembered when rewatching Last Air bender how high budget the show seemed. Like you list to any review channel they were talking about how the reason why show's like Danny Phantom failed on Nick is because they couldn't stop overexceeding their budget and Nick hates losing money.
Meanwhile in shows like Last Airbender the CG scenes and the hand drawn scenes from Mir both looked so seemless you could barely even notice them. Not in Korra. In fact one of the memes from Korra is the reason why you didn't see a whole lot of Earth Bending in Korra was it be too expensive to animate.
