Why has no-one mentioned that the worst part of this scene is that, REGARDLESS of the characters' genders, this group containing skillsets such as spying, reading emotions, twirling a laser spear etc showed up to help Captain Marvel, who a minute earlier had just bodied Thanos' entire ship all by herself. Spider-Man says "I dunno how you're gonna get though all that" but she literally does "get through all that after the girls each have their moment, by just coating herself in energy and blasting through the crowd, same as she did to Thanos' ship.
tl:dr the worst part of the scene isn't the pandering, it's the fact they showed up to help the ONE character who could've handled it herself. Swap Captain Marvel with anyone else and it doesn't come off so badly.
