The gears start turning in her head. She goes to work on her parents, who have actually known the Tennyson's for years. Maybe her parents went to school with Ben's parents? Maybe Gwen's dad had a crush on Ben's mom back in the day, and while they drifted apart in life perhaps that influences the decision to let Gwen tag along?
