E1 was nothing more than a Superman story written like he was batman.
For gods sake, it turned the destruction of krypton into a deliberate act of war and Supermans whole existence into an act of vengeance. It even bloody says that in the book, when his spaceship is talking to him.
Awful superman in an awful book.
Did have some great parts though, like the hooker girlfriend they introduced, plus the cat story. Lex was great too.
