Gonna post what I post in every Bakshi thread:
Bakshi's movies are incomprehensible messes.
They're personal works of art that first and foremost speak to Ralph Bakshi and explore his thoughts and feelings.
Then they're social commentaries.
And lastly they're movies meant to entertain an audience.
As much as I love Hey Good Lookin' and Coonskin, I can't recommend them as "movies", only as performance-art pieces of Bakshi's mind.
