This movie is like if someone took a toy-based cartoon from the 80s, and compressed 2-3 seasons of joy into one movie. I want those firetrucks. I want those mechs. I want little action figures of all the firefighters and Mad Burnish and I want transparent purple-plastic flames to set up around my LEGO city for the final fight.
It is so cheap, though. All the animation is so cheap, but there's just too much joy in the action and absurdity to be bothered by it.
Also, good for Trigger for finally getting bored of lesbian-superpower subplots and doing something for the boys for once.
