>>106943714The original Catra was pure awfulness. She was supposed to be the lead villain in early writing (She Ra, Cat Ra) but it was dropped and she was turned into an annoying henchman that growls and hisses before a sentence, middle of every other word, and between sentences.
The new Catra having Adora be her only friend and family, and turning that into the reason to hate her is just fucking brilliant. Especially because she was always meant to be the villain.
