>>105336418 the core concept is that both Ben and Gwen end up with Omnitrixes, and that due to a quirk in their design(possibly because Albedo or Myaxx made one of them rather than Azmuth) they initially have a defect that results in if one Omnitrix is activated and set to an alien, then the other one will go to that one too if activated
so that gimmick is the sort of thing that'd be good for the first season or so, but it'd wear out it's welcome eventually, so I'm picturing it eventually getting fixed, with Ben and Gwen getting some new stuff to help each stand out from the other, with Gwen I'm thinking she'd discover her magic around this time, and her getting a device to allow her to utilize her magic and her Omnitrix together safely(which ends up having a visible effect on her alien forms), while Ben basically gets his Omnitrix upgraded in line with the Ultimatrix and the Biomnitrix(and can thus do either fusion forms or Ultimate forms)*
*I'm thinking these upgrades would be justified by having an episode where Ben's Omnitrix gets damaged and Gwen has to fix it using Grey Matter, which leads to her(and subsequently Ben) realizing they could use that knowledge to improve upon their Omnitrixes, or at least that's my first thought on the idea
