It's a draw between:
1. Less crying
I'm not saying that the characters should express less of their feelings. I just feel that a lot of times the crying comes off as forced and unrealistic to me. Sometimes I see tears in their eyes for the dumbest shit. If people cry in practically every episode, even the light hearted ones, something is wrong. And it devalues real emotional moments
2. Better Action
I'm not they need to put more action or fights into the show. Though I wouldn't be opposed to that. It's their show and they can take it into the direction they want. If it goes into a direction I'm not interested in I'll just stop watching. But if you do action in your show you need to know how to animate it. The fights in Steven Universe range from awful to meh. The people that storyboard really should try and improve how they convey the sense of impact in fights and try to use more dynamic perspectives.
