Travelling safe haven that can essentially hop dimensions able to visit any "story" in existence. Basically every dimension isn't the same with slight differences a la rick and morty, each one is a different world with it's own rules, characters and stories. The havens job is to intercept and help wherever it can to keep a story on it's intended course without interfering too heavily. It's run by characters that have abandoned their purpose, for whatever reason they gave up being a part of their world. The entire cast isn't overly large but it will mainly focus around three
Good hearted hero from a serialized action show who joined the haven because after completing his journey he just couldn't function without an end goal in his life, he needs to and wants to help others wherever he can.
Nameless grunt who was part of some alliance in a sci fi, good or bad no one knows for sure. Strong silent type, his reasons for being there aren't clear to anyone else.
Villain of a large rogues gallery from a saturday morning cartoon that just grew bored, forced to never win, always making silly schemes doomed to fail. Essentially just went fuck it and bailed.
Whole thing would be episodic, completely character focused able to put them into any situation and let the crew play off each other and the situation they're in. The occasional big threat that could ruin an entire story will show up forcing them to take action and putting the whole haven at risk, even though we follow these characters and they're the "protagonists" they are not tied to the rules of a "story" and are not "characters" anymore, this means they aren't under the protection of those things either, no rules means everything is at stake, anyone can die, and there's no set solutions for the trials they face.
