There's so much better ways to get around directly referencing racism, like, Idunno, making all the characters animal people. The fact that Arthur, the show and the character, directly reference someone's racial trait is very jarring and I have no idea why they would ever do this. I'm just glad that was the full extent of it and Arthur can peacefully end before we see something even stupider go to air.
