>>112852885Yeah, the train seems to show up to people who are on the verge of making a significant choice about the direction of their life. A child soldier who desperately wants to live a normal life but is unable to get away isn't conflicted about what they WANT. Character development isn't going to solve their problem, it's just outside of their power. Seems fucked up really, the train could theoretically just rescue people from all kinds of horrible situations if it was built for that.
