"Wait a cotton pickin' minute." I haven't heard that expression in a while. I actually burst out laughing when I read it.
I rather like Aenaluck's OCs. Dialogue and characterization may not be her strong suit - she's an artist, first and foremost, not a writer. But her characters are beautifully drawn and distinct from one another (at least their faces are).
As for Master's grey hair, perhaps it's meant to show that he's wise beyond his years? Or perhaps it reflects his sexual ambiguity? Human sexuality isn't black and white, and neither is he. He's married to a woman, but he also hankers for Argis and Carlnes. And doesn't one of Aenaluck's comics reveal that he and Gareth are also sexually compatible?
Or perhaps she simply likes the look of a young male character with white or grey hair? Sephiroth from Final Fantasy 7 immediately comes to mind. He's famously silver-haired, yet he's only in his late 20s.
