I remember having to re-roll on an oceanic server since I worked nights just to raid in the mornings. I remember rogues being so overpopulated I had to play a healslut and pretend to be a girl just to get into raids.
I remember my co-workers being interested in the game, my boss(es) pressuring me to play with them. I remember angering my boss cause I main tank'd for his shitty RP low pop server alliance guild and found a buyer for a high price, causing immense work stress.
I remember going through arena partner after arena partner after arena partner until I finally found someone that didn't 100% nerd rage, keyboard turn, click skills, or fail at his job to get gladiator.
Yes, it IS how fast you can get to tier 2, because for rogues that's being in PvP godmode. Only losers sit in town and do nothing. Race to 60 = more pvp and gold farm opportunity. I don't know about you but I'm an uneducated wagie (former wagie) who had to sell gold to make ends meet. As a matter of fact, selling gold was far more profitable than working a wagie job, even more than a pharmacist.
Dungeons were a slog of having to deal with keyboard turning idiots that fell asleep at the wheel, afk'd to "snack break" or up and quit in the middle. Groups would take HOURS to form (even on 10k pop pservers as a TANK.).
Server communities? You mean guilds from other MMO's who controlled everything on low and medium pop servers? Having to fart sniff, toe lick, and fill out "applications" on shitty websites to be given the privilege to raid?! I never understood why content was gated behind other players disdain for you.
Listen lad, the SOONER you get your gear the SOONER you are free to actually play the game... and gank girl gamer streamers 24/7.
