Maybe they were just testing how far they could push the envelope on full AP memery?
the possibilities as to why they would want to do it are definitely there but shrouded in mystery. Only the devs working there know TRULY why they did it but rest assured it wasn't a simple "oversight".
every nerf and every buff has a goal of somesort.
some times its obvious (pushing skins,pushing "action" meta's w flashy champs, lovetapping to give the illusion that you are trying to nerf while the art team finishes up the KDA/Prestige skins 2 patches away)
other times its far more weird but yeah. You are a complete idiot if you think Riot pays people to be incompetent.
What if I TOLD you that Riot purposefully makes CertainlyT to push the envelope on new champs and that CertainlyT is fully aware that his own champions are overloaded messes that stress out players?
