This is exactly my point. League babies range. No other moba gives you so much for just being ranged.
DotA has turn rates, creep aggro, poor man's shield/vanguard, and base stat discrepancies
Smite requires you to aim and you can't auto over minions.
HotS is heavily objective focused instead of carry focused and also features substantial base stat discrepancies
Dawngate had a much smaller movespeed/range ratio, way way better itemization for everyone, and a way for melees to have 4s of cc immunity.
I want to point out part of why this works so well is that in turn in each of these games ranged carries aren't forced to build full glass cannon to do their job and can actually survive being sneezed on if you build that way without having your damage be irrelevant.
Balancing a required class on a one dimensional class cannon axis is a serious flaw.
