They took away the fun of DRK for me, and made RDM spend 90% of its time casting.
I lost some of the excitement from these things alone, but I was still willing to try RDM and SB.
The story felt like it should have happened in ARRs storyline (as in, before you reached Lv50) and a step backwards from the progressing plot of HW.
But it wasnt awful, just not engaging enough to be a strong motivator.
RDM turned out to be semi fun, and kind of reminded me of what I liked about DRK.
But I still want to be maining a plate wearer tank, with a 2 hand sword. (Dont care about the dark themes, I just glamour/dye dark armor into white/silver armors anyways)
Took up WAR, and enjoyed the new WAR. Might be simple, but its just simple fun to go on a Fell Cleave rampage.
RDM and WAR eventually lost their appeal, since they just warent what I want.
Maybe BLU might scratch that itch.
I've lost all interest in subbing.
Viera animations "almost" make me want to try them, but I doubt I could main one for long, before wanting to go back to my Highlander.
Gunbreaker might be a little fun, and since its the closest thing to another 2hand sword user, maybe ill enjoy it. dunno.
But the sheer laziness of BLU has me too pissed off, IDK if I can forgive SE, unless maybe they make it a full job next expansion.
And even then, IDK. The ONLY version of BLU i have EVER disliked, was FF6s, which was a reskinned BLM. BLM stats, BLM robes, and wands. And we get a cloth wearing, wand (cane) using BLU. The only FF where BLU couldnt do decent melee dmg. This version of BLU is the one with the WORST implementation of learning spells, which is the FFXI version, which was a percent chance, after seeing it go off. I just see no merit to this version of BLU, every choice was done out of sheer laziness.
