No game is going to help you (unless it’s dark souls.) understand that it’s not about having a lot of friends. Just a couple. Put yourself in multiplayer matches and leave the mic on. You don’t have to say anything but leave it on. Build a habit of leaving communication open. Eventually you will speak. Just be ready to be open to letting people surprise you.
Take note of their personalities. Even the people who are clearly not your type can shed a little insight on to who you are as a person.
If you have a “darkness” inside you then take pride in knowing that no matter how high and mighty someone might claim themselves to be they are really just as vulnerable as everyone else. Feel empowered to encounter people from a position of understanding than an attempt to make a connection.
And if you really want to be a weeb look up the Dokkodo by Musashi. It’s 21 tenents to walking a lonely path. They can be used to strengthen your resolved as well as sharpen your mind.
