>>67941313>in the Astartes jump you can get a planet as a chapter master that is a Fortress World
Speaking of the Astartes jump.
A "Barren Rock" costs 0 CAP in the Chapter Master DLC. Would it be a fair wank to say that I could essentially buy as many barren rocks as I please to exist in the solar system that my Chapter is based in?
I wanted to create the following:
A deathworld with the archaeotech fortress monastery on it which will serve as the primary recruiting base for my Chapter, and a hiveworld close by. These two planets are revolving around a common point of gravity, tidally locked towards eachother so that the same side of the planets are facing eachother at all times. While the deathworld is the recruiting base for the Chapter, the hiveworld would serve as a Forge World for my AdMech jump (I have a hivemind of a dozen-ish bodies, where one would be the Chapter Master and the other the Archmagos, existing concurrently in the same time period and universe). Might sound a little edgy, but I wanted the Fortress to be shaped as the Imperial Aquila, while the Forge world will have 16 cities in a circular pattern, to serve as the "teeth" of the AdMech cog symbol, and then two huge boreholes in the middle to serve as the eyes, and launching facilities, storage units and other infrastructure to serve as the skull. The AdMech skull and the Aquila would be facing eachother so that they can at all times not only see the other symbols, but weaponry from each planet can also lend their aid in the defence of the other planet in case of invasion, with orbital-grade batteries pounding the outskirts of the fortresses.
And with the Barren Rocks, there'd be six to eight barren planets in the system to be used for mining. I can easily populate these planets, regardless of purchases in the jump, with materials t be mined, because of other perks. I was also considering planting an agri-world in the system to be used as a fortress world by my bolter bitches
