I've used a lot of stolen symbols, including the Ouroborous from FullMetal alchemist, or the Light sigil from Homestuck/Sburb, or even the Portal sigil from Aperture Labs. And I still tend to use them for various things (Ouroborous for more villainous movements, for instance, Light for more esoteric/conceptual experiments, or the Portal for unchecked SCIENCE! initiatives).
Ultimately, though, I think I've decided on a simple rotary fan as a general medium symbol. Spinning metal blades underneath a grate. Fans are like environmental control units, and you can stick them anywhere and it just makes the place look more industrial, so it's neat. I like to stick one on the front of buildings for basically no reason. It's aesthetic!
My companion, Sylvee, keeps removing the metal grates for some reason, and it really pisses me off.> "I just think they look better free!"> "That's stupid! And dangerous! What if someone sticks their hand in there?"> "Can't you just slow down the rotation?"> "That's even more stupid! What would even be the point?!"> "I thought the point was just to be aesthetic."> "Well... YES, that is technically true, but a fan should spin fast! That's the point of a fan!"> "That's stupid. It's enough that it looks neat."
I ask him why and he babbles this freaking non-logic about aesthetics and it's dumb.
One thing I like about all these symbols is every one of them spins around in circles and spirals and such. Spirals are cool! Gurren Lagann told me so!>>66839638
Built robots and weather control machines. Drank a lot of vodka. Stole the Spear of Longinus.

Good morning, pupper.
That image always makes me happy.
Anyway, I guess Undertale counts?
I tried to murder Frisk, like, a bunch of times.
Little shit just kept resetting, over and over.
