A sort of generic expeditiary build for any close to 21st century setting:
SIZE: -22 - Brigade, 3200 personnel, we're going to need it
Logistics: -5, Artillery shells are heavy, and I need lots of them.
Equipment: -1, Good, if common equipment
Loyalty: -3, Can't be Hitler Actual, but can still light up a village or two if need be.
Skill: -1, Well trained, though not elite.
CYCLE: Month/Decade - paid for with 2 cycle delay
Malus: +15 - Black Hawk Down + First Kid
Bonus: -14 - "Horse", "Irene", "Safety"
A well equipped, competent, loyal, reasonably indepent force with exceptional replenishment. I know this is not strictly speaking "optimal", but there is flexibility to take more drawbacks if needed.
