>A GM doesn't need to prepare anything beyond what the players will directly interact with, and often just a dungeon, town, and immediate wilderness is more than enough. Anything more is masturbation
>The plot is there to serve the players, not the other way around. It should bend for them and they shouldn't have to bend for it
>Same goes for the world. "It doesn't fit the setting" is a piss poor, lazy excuse for turning down a character idea. If it doesn't fit, then make it, or make the setting fit it.
