I took an extra hazard, so I think I'll take an extra ration pack.
My build is like a speedrun mining/furs business.
I'll get there super quick, any discord or morale is dampened by my diplomacy and music, while the vermin are taken care of by Mr Whiskers.
Soon as we get there, we start building a good and solid house. Extra room for storage and stuff. That will take a while, so I'll leave Chuck and Hans to it. Seems Hans knows what to do, and Chuck can remind him of stuff that we need, like a good fireplace.
Then, from spring to summer, I hunt, fish and trap like a motherfucker (careful not to overdo it though, we still need the animals to stick around), then make some very high quality furs, and pickle a lot of meat and fish for the winter.
Soon as autumn hits, I'll take the sled and maybe Hans to run back to civilization to sell the furs. Considering how it's not as overburdened as it was when I came, I expect it would be much much faster.
Sell the furs at a high price, get some coin, use the coin to get some more building supplies, rations and so, and rush back.
Then quickly batten the hatches for winter, and get to mining during that season.
Throughout the spring, summer and autumn, I'd have made Chuck mark all the good mineral and gold deposits, and Hans carve a respectable way into it. Now throughout the winter, Hans and I work like dogs to get a lot of minerals and gold (1/2)
