>>63110500>because they turned their noses up at everyone and thought they were stupid.
well, they were stupid.
The entire affair around the Thousand Sons were stupid because they tried to make everyone justified. Too bad an entire planet doesn't get glassed when everyone is right and correct.>Magnus was good boi, didn't do anything wrong
Then why are you not fighting for your right to exist from start?>Russ was a good boi, didn't do anything wrong
Then why did you not make planetfall or send an emissary?>Emperor was a good boi, didn't do anything wrong
Then why didn't you tell your psychic sons explicit dangers of psychics and reveal your sensitive project?>Abbadon was the bad boi, he made everything bad
And the fact that one nudge was all that was needed to wipe an entire legion, and Valdor didn't question it at all after being tasked by the Emperor to capture Magnus in the first place.
Trying to make everyone smart, sensible, and good simply doesn't work. Someone HAS to be an asshole in this plot for it to happen, and dick waving has gotten to ridiculous levels.
I personally prefer SW being the bad guys the most out of all the permutation of the plot as without it, the heretic side kinda loses all element of tragedy.
