I think it needs restating that only half of the primarchs were gender bended before their pods landed on their respective planets.
And it was those primarchs that remained loyal.
The others went traitor as per canon, with Sanguinius being the Arch-Traitor.
I don't think if it's been decided if the femarchs lead their male legionnaires as Joan of Arc style deities of war... or if they lead female legionnaires... or if the legions are co-ed.
I honestly prefer the first one.
We also haven't decided how tall the femarchs grow too. I personally like the idea of them just being rather tall, amazonian women with all the capabilities of a primarch, but I think others might disagree.
Also, since some of the femarchs were canon traitors, I believe in this universe, Lupercal told Erebus to shove it or shot him on sight, or couldn't be inducted into the warrior lodge because it isn't a woman's place.
Fulgrim didn't take the Blade of Llael (probably for petty aesthetic reasons).
Perturabo has this weird school yard rivalry with Dorn with leads to them both being better people in the long run.
What about Miss Constance Kurze...?
