Stonekin: Self-proclaimed true dwarfs. their most advanced tech are mills, lifts, and crossbows. They are based of the traditionalist dwarfs of Warhammer. Runic magic for everything that sheer muscle cannot fix. https://youtu.be/iDHzqiVnZQE
Magmaborne: Technologically advanced and morally bereft. They use daemon infused warmachines and industry that maximizes production and profit with absolute spite to OSHA. Poor people are used as slaves and cannon fodder and the rich are parodes of victorian nobles turned up to 11. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rwY8-IVx1ik
SkyForged: Fewer in number but more wider spread. They live in flying cities akin to Bioshock or the Kharadron overlords. Constant progress without too much sacrifice in morals. They will still plunder the environment and battlefields for resources and loot to process into goods to sell back to the land walkers wilst propagating their own glory. https://youtu.be/gU9xBU71NTg
Engrudged: Disdained, at best, by the other dwarfs. These dwarves are communal to the point that money doesn't exist in their societies. Gold and other precious metals have their uses, but not as currency. They shake their heads at the notion of 'denial of basic necessities to family and neighbor for the unfounded desire of useless metal disks,' in turn they are hated by the Skyforged and the Magmaborne. They have some commonality with the Stonekin, but they make friends with elves and humans, as well as scorn the traditional way for the sake of peace. https://youtu.be/uH-8TDe5s-E>>63586295
Why grow their beards/head hair out so long?
Protection and warmth, as well as to denote age in stone kin societies.
How do they style it? What decorations do they have for it?
They style it in accordance to their profession, gender, rank, pedigree ect. though they leave the mustache and rear of the jaw for personal appeal.
Not the Engrudged. They just have it cleaned and combed and that's it. Sometimes braided, sometimes shaved.
