You, and others like you, just dislike having an official voice backing the whole Mage supremacy schtick in any kind of serious way. He doesn't make excuses for Mage's powerlevel (one he didn't even set) and simply applies the consequences that result from that power. There's always faggots screeching that obviously powerful casters aren't just that, and that there's xyz reasons why they are equal to some clearly mechanically inferior classes, and everyone should just focus on 'roleplay' as if these weren't games people pay money for. That a dev tells those same faggots that of course it's fucking obvious Mages are more powerful and that caster-supremacy is a painfully obvious thing in and out of setting is fucking refreshing compared the snivelling two-faced liars and frauds making D&D, Pathfinder and their like that are happy to pretend casters aren't a glaring issue. One they refuse to be honest about or fix.
